ADMINISTRATIVE

COMPANY MANAGER / COVID COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, the Company Manager / Covid Compliance Officer’s responsibilities include the care and supervision of all visiting artists, ensure complete compliance of all COVID-19 health and safety measures, schedule Covid Testing, making travel arrangements for visitors and DTC staff, departmental budgeting, oversee and maintain company housing and schedule and execute various events.

This is a full-time, exempt position, which is not eligible for overtime. This position includes a full benefits package: medical, dental and vision insurance, DTC-paid life insurance, voluntary life insurance and 403b programs, complimentary tickets, and generous paid-time off. Some nights and weekends will be required as needed throughout the season.

DEVELOPMENT

MANAGER OF GRANTS & PROSPECT RESEARCH

The Manager of Grants and Prospect Research will identify, define, and develop funding sources, build and nurture relationships to support existing and planned program activities, productions, and other special initiatives at Dallas Theater Center in addition to leading the development, writing, and submission of grant proposals to local, state, federal, and private funding agencies.

PRODUCTION

TECHNICAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

Dallas Theater Center (DTC) is seeking a Technical Operations Manager to support house technical needs, rental companies and inventory management for Bryant Hall’s Heldt Black Box (the Heldt) and the Kalita Humphreys Theater (the Kalita). The Kalita is a historic theater in Dallas with recurring and one off renters, as well as in-house producing needs. This manager is responsible for ensuring proper maintenance of equipment in these spaces, coordination with production departments for repairs and inventory updates, and the safe operation of all onsite technical equipment. Shows and Events (DTC and rental) that take place in the Kalita Campus venues may require overhire production staff; this position will be responsible for assessing those needs and supervising these staff for on site work as needed

STAFF ELECTRICIAN

An active member of Dallas Theater Center (DTC)’s Production Department, the Staff Electrician is responsible for working with the Lighting Department to implement, facilitate and maintain the Lighting Designer’s vision for all DTC shows. Additionally, the Staff Electrician is responsible for general upkeep of DTC’s lighting equipment in conjunction with the rest of the Lighting Department. The Staff Electrician reports directly to the Lighting Crew Supervisor, and is responsible for effectively supporting Lighting Designers, ensuring that high artistic standards are met at all times. An ideal candidate would be someone who has experience working with a variety of different lighting equipment, is a strong hands-on learner and feels comfortable working with a team or independently.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position, which is eligible for overtime.
