We’re excited to be offering virtual summer classes online to age groups 7-9, 10-12, and Teens! A diverse collective of creative professionals will guide your young theater artists.

Virtual classes will be held over two weeks beginning Monday, July 27, and are available by topic for just $40.

All-class passes and other purchase options are also available.

For more information please email Education@dallastheatercenter.org.

Where will classes be held?

Classes will be held over the DTC Education Zoom Account. Families are encouraged to have a reliable connection (hotspot, wifi, connected internet) and use of a phone, desktop, laptop or tablet.

Will students need materials?

List of needs/supplies for class will be provided to parents the week before the class.

Will there be a final performance?

Each class will produce some form of product by the end of the two weeks.  It may be a recording (audio or video), portfolio, live performance, written script or costume design.

What age groups are provided?

Teens (13-18), Ages 7-9, Ages 10-12.  If your student turns the next age (level) before the class starts, you can move your student to the next level.

Do you pay per day? Per class? Per family?

Each class is $40 per class (not per day).  If you have a family of 3 or more students, you can pay for a family package for $500 that covers three or more students for all classes.

Where does this money go towards?

We created this two week summer camp to not only provide a service to our community but to provide monetary support to local artists who are unable to engage with the community since the pandemic.
