DTC’s Brierley Resident Acting Company Studies Greek Classics With Olympia Dukakis

On January 27th, DTC’s Brierley Resident Acting Company came together for a week at the Wyly Theatre to explore the challenges of acting in classical Greek tragedies with the Academy Award-winning, legendary stage and screen actor, Olympia Dukakis.

Donor Spotlight: Mitchell Gold+Bob Williams

Dallas Theater Center began its relationship with Mitchell Gold+Bob Williams during the 2011-2012 season’s production of Next Fall.  The store generously donated furniture used in the production and also hosted an event in its McKinney Avenue location.  Since then, the partnership has continued with in-store events promoting The Odd Couple and most recently, Les Misérables.

Virgin’s Guide to Rocky Horror

So there you are,  waiting to see The Rocky Horror Show for the first time, when a strangely dressed person comes up to you and utters the immortal phrase “are you a virgin?”  Don’t panic, it’s not a proposition (although you never know your luck!).
