STAGE MANAGEMENT APPRENTICE
Dallas Theater Center (DTC) is now accepting resumes for a Stage Management Apprentice for its 2018-2019 Season. The apprentice serves as an integral part of the stage management department and will serve on the stage management team for a minimum of four productions. The ideal candidate would be dedicated, detail oriented, self motivated and able to maintain a positive attitude in high stress situations. The position is full-time, hourly pay with overtime and the option of a benefits package while being responsible for their own housing and transportation. DTC operates under LORT B, C, & D agreements allowing the apprentice to be eligible for the EMC program.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
As key member of the department, the Associate Director of Marketing will create timelines and manage projects to ensure successful execution of all marketing campaigns, and will work closely with all members of the marketing team to maintain these timelines.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, s/he will also serve as the main contact for all marketing projects for internal departments, including Development, Education, and Artistic, and will represent Marketing at inter-departmental campaign meetings. In addition, s/he will assist the Director of Marketing in developing single ticket and subscription marketing campaigns for all Dallas Theater Center productions.
This position will also participate in generating content (ideate, write, design, and/or direct) for a new upcoming website and for advertising and marketing initiatives based on customer segmentation.
This position is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with expertise in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns and a passion for theater.

SEEKING SummerStage Intern (One position available)
We are currently seeking an intern to join our Education Department during the months of June and July to provide leadership for our 2017 SummerStage program. This exciting summer internship is a hands-on, engaging opportunity for an individual interested in arts education and the world of professional theater.
SummerStage is DTC’s theater day camp and acting program that offers classes to over 400 students (ages 9-18) at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre and the Kalita Humphreys Theater. The SummerStage Intern will help design and execute the SummerStage program.
Job Duties include (but are not limited to):
Requirements: Applicant must have completed at least two years of college, and must be returning to school as a full-time junior or senior undergraduate in fall 2017. We are looking for emerging theater artists who have been historically under-represented in the artistic community. We encourage emerging theater and education students from all diverse backgrounds to apply for consideration.
Dates: June 4 – August 3, 2018 (With half-day trainings from 5/28-6/1)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Salary: $3000 stipend

This position is ideal for college students with an interest in Education and Theater Education. Selected candidates will gain experience working with children, professional teaching artists, and the education department of a large regional theater.

Dates: June 4 – June 29, with half-day trainings from 5/28-6/1, M-F 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM OR July 9 - August 3, M-F 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: $400 stipend per session including training. (Please note, you can only apply for one session out of the two.)

STAFF CARPENTER
Dallas Theater Center is seeking a staff carpenter to join our fast-paced scene shop. This is a non-exempt, hourly position, with benefits and paid time off. The position is jointly responsible for the build, installation and strike of scenery for Dallas Theater Center’s 10 show season. Dallas Theater Center seeks Stage Management Observers for its 2017-2018 season. SM Observers will assist the Stage Management staff and have the opportunity to observe and participate in DTC rehearsals and technical rehearsals. This is a volunteer position and it is best suited, but not limited, to those interested in pursuing Stage Management as a career. Scheduling is part time, flexible and may be short or long term, but a commitment is required. Dallas/Fort Worth locals are encouraged to apply as housing is not provided.
