DTC is grateful for the sponsorship support of the Dallas Theater Center Guild. This summer, they are underwriting the role of Jean Valjean (played by Nehal Joshi) in Les Misérables, continuing a tradition that has included underwriting Dorothy in The Wiz, the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat, and Wendy in FLY. “The Guild is thrilled to be a part of DTC’s production of Les Misérables in this way,” said Madeline Freberg, Guild President. “Our support of DTC takes many forms, but it is especially meaningful to know we are helping make this production possible.”
The Dallas Theater Center Guild has a proud legacy dating back to the Theater’s inception in 1959. It was organized from the Women’s Committee to promote community awareness of and interest in Dallas Theater Center. Through volunteer service dedicated to Dallas Theater Center, Guild members have enjoyed the experience of live theater in an “up front and personal” manner.
Various committees within the Guild have allowed its members to serve and support DTC activities, including Meet-and-Greets, Adopt an Artist, Tech Dinners and the annual Staff Appreciation event. There are a number of social activities that further enhance the Guild’s membership experience.
Attending Guild events and working on various committees necessary to operate the Guild is not only a rewarding experience but results in lasting friendships. Experience the Guild for life beyond the stage. For more information, visit dtcguild.org.
