On Monday, October 14, major supporters of DTC’s Bringing the Wyly Theatre to Life Advancement Campaign gathered to celebrate with an evening of great food and entertainment. Guests enjoyed cocktails and a seated dinner created by Wolfgang Puck Catering. Rebecca Fletcher, Advancement Campaign and DTC Board of Trustees Chair spoke of the transformation the campaign allowed DTC to experience, and the programs and initiatives it successfully brought to life. The evening ended with special entertainment from Wade McCollum, last seen on DTC’s stage as the Emcee in Cabaret.
The campaign was designed to support a bold vision for DTC’s future, which began with the Theater Center’s move to the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre in the AT&T Performing Arts Center in 2009. In total, the five-year campaign raised $13,180,372.00 from 150 gifts.
