The mission of Literacy Achieves is to equip non-English speaking adults and their young children with English literacy and life skills to promote self-sufficiency and the overall well-being of our students, their families and the greater community.
Literacy Achieves is a non-profit adult literacy program designed to improve the communication and life skills of non-English speaking adults and children.
PURPOSE/MISSION? dedicated to improving English literacy levels among non-English speaking adults and their young children by providing programs in communication and life skills.
WHERE? North Dallas, Vickery Meadow neighborhood. 6329 Ridgecrest Dallas, Texas 75231
WHAT DO THEY DO? Workforce Literacy, Family Literacy, Early Childhood, Empowerment Program
WHO DO THEY SERVE? Mainly, this campus serves the Vickery Meadow neighborhood. They do have West and East Dallas campus. They currently serve 1,000 adult students and 300 children. Early Childhood starts at 4 months- 5 years old. Additionally, they have school aged programming and a teen group.

>200 preschool children
>Adult teachers are volunteers, totaling around 300.
>60 languages spoken in the VM Neighborhood
