Hal Brooks

(Director) directed Itamar Moses’s Back Back Back for DTC. In New York, he has directed Nilaja Sun’s Obie Award-winning No Child; Will Eno’s Pulitzer Finalist Thom Pain (based on nothing); Mona Mansour’s Urge for Going (The Public Theater); Ionesco’s The Bald Soprano (Pearl Theatre). Regional: Sam Hunter’s The Whale (Denver Center); Six Years (Humana); Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Two River); My Name is Asher Lev (Marin). Hal is the Associate Artistic Director of the Ojai Playwrights Conference, a member of LCT Directors Lab, a Drama League Fellow, a recipient of the NEA/TCG Program for Directors, and Artistic Director of the Cape Cod Theatre Project.

Pay-What-You-Can performance. For as little as a penny per ticket, theatergoers can see world-class live theater at Dallas Theater Center. Pay-What-You-Can tickets go on sale one week before the performance. If no tickets are listed for sale on our site, please check back - more inventory may become available.
