ARTISTIC ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

This position reports to the Artistic Producer and is intended for the purpose of supporting the administrative needs of the artistic staff, assisting the Enloe/Rose Artistic Director, and scheduling for the Managing Director. Essential duties include scheduling, facilitating communication, managing the artistic budget, serving as a liaison between the artistic department and the staff, board, and community, and completing other artistic projects as assigned. In addition to working closely with DTC’s Artistic Producer, artistic staff, and artists, the Artistic Administrative Assistant will act as a representative of the department and communicate with internal and external entities as needed. We are actively seeking to fulfill this role with individuals who have been historically underrepresented in the artistic community. This is a full-time position. Compensation: $500/week (40-hour week, no overtime) and benefits. Housing is not provided by DTC.

DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT

The Development Assistant will report to the Director of Development. DTC is in the quiet phase of a multi-million-dollar campaign to raise operating and endowment funds for the theater. The Development Assistant will work directly with the Director of Development to help ensure the success of the campaign and other development projects as assigned. Responsibilities include: assisting with proposal development (narrative and visual presentations), donor/prospect communication, scheduling, cultivation events, and benefit fulfillment. The Development Assistant will have the opportunity to interact with donors, board members, and artistic staff.

STAGE MANAGER, ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS,

PRODUCTION ASSISTANTS, STAGE MANAGEMENT INTERNS

Dallas Theater Center is now accepting resumes for stage managers, assistant stage managers, production assistants and stage management interns for the 2017/18 season. Candidates should be dedicated, hard working, self-motivated, able to maintain a positive attitude, and detail oriented. Positions are seasonal on a show-by- show basis with contracts starting as early as November 2017. DTC operates under a LORT B/C/D agreement with AEA. Local applicants only.

STAGE MANAGEMENT OBSERVERS

Dallas Theater Center seeks Stage Management Observers for its 2017-2018 season. SM Observers will assist the Stage Management staff and have the opportunity to observe and participate in DTC rehearsals and technical rehearsals. This is a volunteer position and it is best suited, but not limited, to those interested in pursuing Stage Management as a career. Scheduling is part time, flexible and may be short or long term, but a commitment is required. Dallas/Fort Worth locals are encouraged to apply as housing is not provided.
